We gets lots of spice extractors (I'm sitting on 80+), we get lots of rare pets to spice, we get lots of ingredients to bake with - what we don't have are baking utensils. They cost too much in the shop for using most of the rare spices to be plausible (for me, at least. I need all of my frost tokens for avatar items.)
I propose that the bosses have a chance of occasionally dropping baking utensils? This way more rare pets will be baked, more rare spices used, and more spice extractors consumed. I dunno how plausible this is, aha, but I think it'd be a nice way to wrap up the festival.

A more unrealistic proposition I have is to turn spice extractors into baking utensils or into frost tokens, but I can dream. *u*

Baking Utensils are supposed to be Frost Tokens only to promote actively doing everything else in the Festival. They are set to be pricey in the shop because we don't want a complete flood of the baked pets. So it is for population control reasons. I don't think we really want to change that.
However, since this was kinda an experimental run with this feature, we'll have a lot of balancing to do with drops for the future. It's very hard to just brainstorm all of those drops and come out with a balanced amount lol. And unfortunately we didn't have ample time to test them sufficiently.
Anyway though, for this festival, it kinda is what it is. Moving forward, we'll look at the numbers and adjust so all of the items are more balanced.

So for those of us 80+ spice extractors that we're never going to use (last I checked they were being sold for 1 gold on the broker now), what do we do with them?

Whatever you want with them? Lol.
You can just save them for next year, toss them, sell them, or give them away. It's up to you.
