So, I saw the other 'The Lab' RP, and it seemed very cool! Unfortunately, the people who were operating the RP Thread had to close it (as well as the first recreation of it) But I liked the Plot a lot. So I'm Re-Creating it!


Intro:
Its cold, cold and dark, and your memories are fuzzy. How did you get here? Why would you fall asleep on what feels like a table? Why...

Why cant you move? You try to tug your arms free from the restraints and notice you cant move your legs either. You bite the inside of your cheek, hard, since you cant pinch yourself, but this is no dream. Suddenly there are bright lights and dark figures. You cant make out faces, just shapes, and you can barely keep your eyes open with the blinding light shining right at you. You feel a pinprick in your arm and the world goes fuzzy, and then completely black.

You wake up once more in the dark and the cold, but this time you can move. You clutch your head and blink, trying to make out anything, and you see in front of you the bars of the cage. Your body feels strange and you realize what happened. They changed you. Whatever you were before, you are their experiment now, and you want out.

World Info: (probably to be continued)
You are all teenagers and children, no younger than 6 and no older than 18, who have been kidnapped by a shady organization, one whos name they keep confidential from you, to be test subjects in experiments. You have either been made part animal or part machine (thats your choice, try not to be absurd with your traits). The transition is not perfect, and there have been test subjects before you killed by the changes. This time they have a better handle on things and you came out able to survive. You are kept in cages and the scientists perform various tests. You arent told what they are testing for or why they did this. To them you are no longer a person.

RULES
1) UScupcake is the moderator, what I say goes, but I promise not to be too harsh
2) No godmodding or metagaming
2a) godmodding is controlling another players character in order to have a better outcome. For example My character punches your character so hard and fast that they cant dodge, and your character is knocked out on the floor.
2b) metagaming is having your character use (to their advantage) information that you, the player, learned out of rp, and that your character did not learn. for example knowing which way to turn to get out of a maze because you read what another player did to escape, but your character wasnt there.
3) You must be able to roleplay in complete sentences. One word posts will not suffice. You should be aiming for a paragraph or so, but at least one full sentence is required
4) to prove that youve read the rules, in the anything else you want to say? category somewhere add the word syzygy (it means an alignment of the planets or other celestial bodies. Its Crows favorite word) Once your character sheet has been put up on the post after this, please edit out the word so people don't cheat c:
5) Keep out of character (OOC) chatter to a minimum. If you have to say something ooc in the thread (for instance to clarify what happens when your character does something, ask a question, or for any number of other reasons) please use either OOC: what you wanted to say, or ((what you wanted to say))
6) Everyone is allowed in the roleplay, but if you intentionally and repeatedly break rules, we will kick you out. This goes especially for godmodding and metagaming.

Description of changes due to experiment: The experiment was to create a werewolf, but instead of using wolf DNA, the scientists used dog DNA. Well, as you guessed, the experiment went wrong. Instead of being a human that can turn into a dog, he just got dog ears, dog's smell ability, and dog's hearing ability. And he also got rather strong, long claws and fangs, and his hair became white.
Characters Appearance(or a picture):
Description of Personality: He is rather rude to everyone, and usually finds a reason to fight - let it be an opportunity to escape the lab, or the last piece of food that he doesn't want to share with his cellmates. Even thought he usually gets punished, he never makes any consequences. Despite that, if he befriends someone, he will give his life to protect him, as he is very loyal.
What is your character good at: He is much stronger than a human, and he can throw one across the room, driving him unconcious by smacking him on the wall (smacking a human, I meant), but he isn't strong enough to break the cell's bars. He has a very good smelling ability, even better than dogs, and he has great hearing abilities, meaning he can hear people wispering about 200 meters from him.
What are some faults and fears: He fears 2 things - technological test subjects, as they, being half human, half machine, can be much stronger than himself. And the second thing he fears are very sharp smells, as they can drive him dizzy or even unconscious, for he has a very good smelling ability.
Example paragraph (Basically show us how you rp, you can also make that your introduction upon waking up in the cage room): "So cold... So dark... Wait, what? My arm! It seems someone is injecting a syringe into it. I seems I am losing consciousness... I am waking up again. What was that with me? Okey, now, I opened my eyes, but it is still dark! My room has windows! Or maybe it's still night. And why is it so cold? I think I'll curl up beneath my blanket and go to sleep again. Wait. There is no blanket! And the bed seems metal! Is this? It is a cell! Where am I? Hm, someone talking... They are saying "Senyo, or test subject 2796135, is going to be in it's cell for 5 days with no food, or a person to speak with. On day six, we will deliver Hanoy, or test subject 2796181 to him, who will be kept in same condition, and give them both food. Just a little bit. And we will see, who will eat most, A male dog, or a female fox." Wait did they referred me to a dog? What the hell is going on?

Ok, now here's some more info about the world -
These are operation tables, on which we lay while the scientists mix our DNA with animal DNAs, or add mechanisms into our body.


And here are the cells we are being kept in (use your imagination to get rid of as much lightning as possible, leaving just a bit for the scientists and the guards to see.


Each cell has a metal bed, a toilet, a sink and a mirror. Well, almost each. Some have no beds (making those who live in them sleep on the floor), that are made for keeping more than one test subject.

One of them murmured something to another one, injected a syringe filled with I-don't-know-what, and I fell back into unconsciousness. When I woke again, I was in what looked like a jail cell, with a bed(I wouldn't call it a bed, actually, it was more like a metal slab), a window, and a mirror. I looked out the window and realized, judging by the darkness, that it was night. I looked at myself in the mirror, which was slightly cracked, and saw that I had fox ears and a tail! I didn't mind it too much though, considering I like foxes. I then heard voices. They were faint, but I could make out some of the words. "2693057 will be in her cell for 6 days with only food..." "She may have some social time with others during that time..." "Do NOT give her water, she will get red and rapidly shake, then after about a minute, she'll become unconscious for hours, and when she wakes up, will suffer minor, yet easily curable, amnesia...". I realized they were talking about me. I'm 2693057. I will have only food for 6 days in my cell. I'm allergic to WATER. I will have some social time with others. Wait- others? there's other people? Random memories of other people, people I don't know, flooded my mind. But these memories aren't mine! I was about ready to scream, but instead I lay down on my rock-hard bed, and eventually fell into a sleep, wondering what would happen when I woke up...
Anything else you want to say?: I like words that end in -gy, like syzygy.

Well then, think of a character that will fit your visit ability. Someone who goes unconcious a lot or something like that. Hope to see you on the roleplay!

What is your character good at: Very dextrous, and surprisingly good at throwing a punch.
What are some faults and fears: Fears? Everything that moves is scary, and he's quick to hide behind someone. Or trip them to escape the zombies scientists.
Example paragraph:
My vision is fuzzy...I can barely feel anything. There's people around me, I think. People in big white coats. I try to lift my hand, but I'm tied now. Then someone says, "He's up again, what did you do with-" and I'm forced back to sleep by one of the people.

I wake up some time later in what looks like...a jail cell? What am I doing here? I don't remember getting arrested, or drinking or anything; but I do seem to have a bad headache. I put my hand up to my forehead, a habit when I feel sick, and notice a line on my forehead. A little more poking shows it goes all the way around. What the heck have they done to me? I walk up to a mirror in the cell over a sink. The whole line is a scar. All the way around my head. Maybe it was a good thing I was asleep. It's not so much a good thing I was kidnapped.

Then, seeming out of nowhere, a beast with dark green and blue fur and a hundred eyes walks up behind me. I run to the other side of the cell, almost without thinking. When I look around the cell...the monster is gone. How could it disappear so quickly? And why does my lower back feel so heavy? I turn to look at it....the monster is attached to me. Except, it's not a monster. It's a feathery peacock tail. Yay. Kidnapped, and turned into a hybrid monster. I just hope they don't do any worse....yeah, I'm going to die.
