Challenge Entry
Spirit Bear Morkko
I chose this design because my grandmother lived in a very rural community up in the mountains and she would tell my sister and I stories about a bear she saw once when she was a kid, and how she was so awed by the creature that she was sure it's spirit stayed with her all the time to watch over her.

Title: Our Colors Morkko
Genes: Spotted Streaks and Striped Hyena

I made this Morokko couple to represent my husband and myself. His favorite color is blue and mine is green, and we often choose those colors to represent ourselves when playing games or writing notes to each other. The colors are placed on each Morokko together, blue and green intertwined. This is because he and I are stronger together than apart, and because our love for each other is strong even through the rough times. By working together we can overcome things we would not have been able to overcome separately and I love the strong image of the Morokko to represent that.
And because the location of the blue on one of them is where green is on the other and vice versa, if they were to breed I think their colors would blend together in their offspring in a melding of color-Morkko love. :)
Thank you so much for inspiring me with this thread! <3 I think this might be my first-ever breeding project eventually. And in the meantime the imagery means a lot to me. :)
