Pretty much what the title says.

I was looking around through the pet search/sales, and for the life of me, I can't make heads or tails out of it. (I also can't find a lot of pets with similar color schemes to my starter, so I assume that's not popular?) I dunno.

I can tell that lighiras are popular, and griffis, but I can't tell how popular a species is compared to another species?

Well, as far as which pets are popular and which aren't, that's sort of something you'll figure out the longer you're here, but as a general guide, Morkkos, Puffadores, Dreayls and Sylvorpas are the least popular, and Griffies, Lighiras, Aeridinies and Ryories are all pretty popular.

As for traits, it'll vary greatly depending on the species, but a general rule is the more recently the trait was released, the more popular it's going to be. Not always true, but often is.

As far as colors go, that varies a lot, but as long as they look nice together, most people will like them.


Overall though, I would say, don't go by what's popular, go with what you like, that's what matters. Since everyone on this site has very different tastes, it'd be pretty hard to find pets that everyone, or even the majority, likes. So my advice is, don't worry about what's popular, do what you want.

IMO, your starter pet is both beautiful and unique. You might start a trend.
