Nightstarre considers her new options.

Deeper Into the forest, that may be the road less traveled, but will that lead to treasure? Nightstarre turns direction and goes to the right, following the winding path towards the house:

(This is really fun!!)

First, thanks for the okapi!!! So cool! And secondly, the left, dark door. I think it might be some sort of trick in which the white one which people are more prone to will be something scary! Excited! :D

Nyoka, you're not part of the door group, you're part of the clearing group. Please see the top of post #140 and pick which path. Thanks!

Nightstarre, I'm glad you're having fun! I am too, except for when people have to leave >.< but, that's all part of the game, I guess. I'm glad so many people had decided to play; it's been a labor of love and spooky stuff.

Okapilover7, you're most welcome!

Mikazukichan, if you're not big on the lighira, feel free to give him to another good home. But if you like him, then goody ^-^

Everyone has been added.

I was once again at a crossroads. My mind had already been made up, though, as I sent a distrustful glare towards the path leading back towards the house. Nope, nope, nope. That house was full of unpleasant surprises. I can handle whatever was in the forest, no problem. My sylesti seemed to agree, tension obviously easing from them as we headed towards the forest.

(further into the forest! Sorry for the wait, forgot about this oops >>)

ROUND SIX! CLOSED!

Nightstarre decides to wind back towards the house. Who knew what the forest held? Besides, there was more to see in the house, right? Winding through the path, it seemed to take them in circles. Just when they thought it must have been a trap and to turn around, they spot something. It's a small clearing with a door leading to a vine-ridden, small, outdoor building. Upon closer inspection, it has skeletons of small animals in front of it. Maybe it is a warning, or maybe it was just some passerby's snack. To the right is a gated tunnel leading back into the looming house beyond. The gate is not locked, but it is covered in spiderwebs and the tunnel whispers and sighs at them.

(Congratulations, you have made it to Round Six.)

Which path do you choose?

To the left, the small, outdoor building:

To the right, tunnel back to the house:

Willowivy, Fang, Jadelion, Winter, and Nyoka head deeper into the forest. An eerie quite falls over the wooded area and even their footsteps seem muffled. They walk for what seems like hours. At times, the forest seems to brighten so extremely, that the group must squint and shield their eyes. The forest feels almost magical, if not deadly. As they are walking, they enter a very small clearing and the sunlight turns harsh. The group is startled to hear whispers in another language and hushed squeals circling them in the small clearing. The voices seem so far away, but they must be close, just beyond the trees and their sight. Suddenly, a shrill cry is heard through the woods and out darts a small, but horrible green figure. Then another. And another. The group is now surrounded by bouncing, armed, leprechauns. Not the nice ones who kids chase for cereal, or even the cute ones that give away treasure. No, these are the spritely, mean, fae-beings that a dark and dangerous, who aggressively guard their treasure at any cost. Fearful, everyone looks for a way out of this cheap budget horror movie. They seen none. Looks like they'll have to fight their way out of this mess. Just as the heroic group readies an attack, a sudden crackle of lightning sounds overhead. The group ducks as soon as the ear-splitting lightning sounds. When they look up, all that is left of the leprechauns are separate piles of smoking ashes and loot. They conclude that bouncing leprechauns must have had so much metal and gold on them, that it attracted the lightning and sealed their fate. Each person gingerly kicks off the smoldering ash and picks up their own pile of conquered leprechaun goodies.

Jadelion receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Lucky Pot of Gold, Flower Bouquet, Woodsman's Axe, Leprechaun Hat
Winter receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Lucky Pot of Gold, Herbalist Flowers, Flower Bouquet, Lupora Ears
Nyoka receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Woodsman's Axe, Flower Bouquet, Supernova Staff (Sunlight), Herbalist Flowers
Willowivy receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Lucky Pot of Gold, Herbalist Flowers, Staff of the Peach (Golden), Woodsman's Axe
Keanai receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Herbalist Flowers, Supernova Staff (Starlight), Flower Bouquet, Gnarled Vines
Fang receives: Leprechaun Outfit, Staff of the Peach (Violet), Herbalist's Flowers, Supernova Robes (Sunlight), Gnarled Vines

(Thanks for playing, this was a sub-treasure room. Your adventure ends here but I hope you had fun and enjoy the prizes. For distribution, your names and prizes were matched randomly using a generator. They are being sent out, please give some time for them to get delivered.)

----------------

Mikazukichan and Okapilover7 both head for the dark door. Something is suspicious about the light colored one. Their hearts are pounding; they've made it so far! Bravely, they open the door. Cobwebs dangle down, it had not been opened for some time. The small group finds themselves in a hallway with only two options, once again. To the left is a winding staircase leading downward to darkness. To the right, is a tunnel. The tunnel is also shrouded in darkness.

(Congratulations, you have made it to Round Six.)

Which path do you choose?

To the left, twisting stairs of darkness:

To the right, tunnel of darkness:

NOTE: I will be going out of town until Thursday. I will take my laptop and try to get online to finish the game but since I am going to the mountains, I am unsure of the wi-fi situation. So with luck, I'll be on during the week. If not, the last round will begin Thursday. Thanks for your understanding.

That light door really had seemed suspicious, but perhaps the dark door hadn't been much better. After all, now Mika and her sylesties were faced with two equally dark options to choose from: the tunnel, or the stairs. Just looking at the tunnel made Mika shiver. Sure, that seemed the most likely spot for treasure, what with it giving her such shivers just looking at it. What better way was there to keep the treasure safe than to make the way to it so terrifying? Still, even the lure of treasure couldn't make the (usually) brave adventurer and her pets take that path.

Maybe the stairs would lead down into doom. Maybe it would lead down to an underground lake. Maybe it would lead to a dragon's treasure trove. There was really only one way to find out: Mika and her sylesties stepped away and headed down the stairs.

I don't know why, but I am going to say the winding downward stairs. Treasure is always in basements, right?

Certain that the treasure must be somewhere near the manor, Nightstarre turns to the right, and heads towards the creepy spider web covered tunnel back to the house.
