Just started playing and I'm already stuck. I've gotten as far as Jinxie telling me I'm ready to explore and saying "Click on the 'Explore' tab and then visit Esior's Haven to check for available quests." I gather I'm supposed to get a quest to capture a sylesti--a special quest that doesn't require a snare. However, that quest has not shown up. The Quest Board only shows me Defend the Windmill and Taking Back the Fields. The map won't let me go anywhere except to the Quest Board and the Market in Esior's Haven. Can anybody help? It's boring when you literally cannot take the next step!

Have you accepted the quest yet? The capture a sylestie quest shouldn't happen until a little later in the game, as I recall.

The 'Capture a Sylesti' quest is not available to you yet. You need to complete the tutorial zone (Esior's Fields) to get to that point. The capture quest is available for the second zone.

So just accept the available quests and then go to Esior's Fields and go through all of the steps.

Thanx for the additional explanation. I tried accepting the Taking Back the Fields quest, but I still couldn't go anywhere on the map except the areas I already mentioned. Perhaps I should have accepted the Defend the Windmill quest first?

You need to accept all of the quests before the zone will open up.

Sorry, the tutorial isn't very well structured. It'll be revamped with the upcoming exploration revamp or possibly sooner.
