when pets become adults they show any genes in their status screens or do i still have to test them for the genes to show?

at least i know that their mutation shows doh, but their genes would come up in the genes after their reach adult stage? i ask because i released a few adults because they had no genes or mutations

If a gene is only carried, it will not show up when they become adults. They have to be tested, then all carried genes will show up on their profile in italics.
Even if a pet has no visible genes or mutations, it may be carrying either or both.

id have too much to test lol... I'm gonna save money to buy about 1000 diamons so that I'll only need $5 cash to buy the unlimited charges test

It's okay if you have 20 or so pets that need to be tested. Or even more than that; if people had a problem with it, they wouldn't offer.

As already stated, genes and mutations are BOTH hidden unless the gene/mutation is visable.

I don't have much because I'm not breeding much, and I'm not breeding much cuz I don't have the expetional tester yet.

I did requested the testing services once for a few pets and it was cool for one time but do that every 2 or 3 days would feel tedious and annoying haha
already have 375 diamonds, not doing so bad ^_^
