She was marked with two purple stars, and I needed the Strong Trap (the standard would not work).

So she's an epic (because of the purple stars), am I correct?

Now, why does she have only 2 genotype points (one mutation visible)? Should epic have more, or is there something I don't know?

Epic means she has 4 GP. These can be randomly dispersed~ she most likely has two carries in there that you can't see without getting her genetically tested first. That's something I can do for you if you'd like?

there are actually quite a handful of people providing free genetic testing. Just look around in the breeding forum for people offering that. =)
