Does it have to be STRICTLY the country's flag, or can it be flags WITHIN the country or state?
eg. The USA's flag is for the USA, but each state has it's own flag.
with a color scheme based on any country's flag colors.
A state is not a country...it is a small part of a country, which most have there own birthdays. Of course the original 13 also share todays July 4th with the country. :)

So the Dutch flag has a bit of a bonus colour, does it count that I included it?
(There's a reason Dutch soccer fans wear crazy orange outfits)

ITALY! Why you make my pet look Christmasy?
I specifically chose the Aeridini because the Coral Snake gene would allow for me to get the flag stripes perfectly, however this meant not getting to color the eyes green like I wanted so that I could have the center white stripe as well. Oh well, it still looks good.
The reason I chose Italy even though I'm an American is because I happen to have been born in there when my parent's were stationed overseas and even though I can't remember living there, I've always had a fondness for the language (which I really want to learn), the history, and the little bit of culture I do know about. My hope is to one day go back there and get to explore the country, see the sights and get to know more about the place. ^^
Unnecessary explanation is unnecessary, but I thought I'd share anyway. ^^
