In all my time breeding themed pets (since the Fall Festival of 2013) I've seen countless color swings in tagged and purebred pets. Usually they're subtle, maybe a bit lighter, maybe a bit darker, maybe paler or brighter... But today I hatched something with a swing so shocking, I thought for a moment that I had mistakenly made a half-breed.

PINK Barn Owl Nytekrie!



The mother is a bit on the dark side for a Barn Owl, and the father is nearly white. And somehow, when bred together, they made an icky pale pink. o_O


So I figured I'd share. Anyone else get a result like this for a themed pet?? I'd love to see how far a color swing can go. :D

Just hatched me another one.. This time it's yellow. O_o

I hatched a purple chocolate paws lupora, just after the spring fest ended:



It's kind of an icky sort of purple, if you ask me;;

And I understand that there was this whole thing with white Stormy Heart Luffox, instead of their nice dark brownish color.

I know this thread is a bit old but with the fall festival coming up it might be fun to post the new crazy color swung themes we find.

For now I'd like to post an old one of mine that I really love. I think they were called Peach Blossom Vulnyx from the 2013 Spring Festival. (Not until the 2013 Summer Festival were themed pets tagged.) Kinda funny I was just showing him to someone yesterday before finding this thread.




Below is more how one of these should look.

I had a project, that was abandoned, about colour swing on raspberry lemonade Lighiras. Some of them came out blue. :)

who remembers that "silver" stormy heart luffox trend? anyone? xD
