I just felt like sharing this because it's HILARIOUS!!
I've been working on very specific design pairs for my Spooky Ryori, and one of them is a 'theme' that I called "Divine Beauty"
It's basically a 2-vis theme, Marbled + Wings of Illusion, so I've been trying to get a pair of Spooks with JUST those traits. No excess carries. One of my pairs with a chance to breed this rand lessen the excess is Aphrodite and another simply named Divine Beauty. Both parents have Visible Marbled and Wings of Illusion which are needed for the theme, and then they both have four carries which I need to breed OUT.
Well, this was my first attempt at breeding the carries out of the mix, and instead of what I wanted...
EVERY LAST CARRY passed on! Which gave me a 6-vis!!
The chances of such a result is incredibly slim - as rare a result as a 2-vis without carries! But the timing of such an event is even more shocking, with this being my FIRST attempt at breeding out the carries.
Luckily I love the traits on this gal, since they're one litty bitty recessive trait (double stripes) away from being an ideal Ethereal Knight breeder, so I really can't complain. In fact I'm overjoyed with this 'failed' breeding!
I'll definitely be breeding her into the Ethereal Knight line, but I've given her a name to suit her origin rather than the Knight's theme.

I love the Spooky Ryori! So far they're my favorite of all themed pets, so I looooove getting these little surprises from them. ^^
I also figured this would be a funny story for other people who breed for 6-vis pets. I sure got a kick out of it! XD

That's awesome! Love it when even if a plan goes wrong, it goes wrong in a good way.

Gorgeous Ryori, congrats!
Okay so this is a total newbie question but i'm wondering, how do you know all 6 traits are visible at the hatchling stage?

You have to use a genetic testing kit on the pet's profile page. It'll show you carried traits that would otherwise be hidden, and for hatchlings it reveals their mutations as well. :)
