TItle Pretty Much Sums It Up. I tried to put the URL to my Hatchery on the nurturing thread, and it came up as a blank post. I DK what to do or how to make it show uP. can anyone help me?

There's two buttons at the bottom of typing a post:

Preview Post, and Post Reply.

Make sure that something is typed in your message (like copying the URL and pasting it in your message), and click Post Reply. Pretty much the same way you posted this thread. c:

If you want a custom text link, like this, then you need to use the URL= button. Type the words, highlight them, click the URL= button and paste the destination URL.

This is ur hatchery URL. http://www.sylestia.com/view/hatchery/?userid=16385

2 ways to do this.

1st way: Click button: URL
You should get the following (minus the spaces)

[url ][ /url]

Paste the above URL inbetween the brackets [url ]Paste here[ /url]

2nd way to do this: (This is if you want writing to show up instead of the URL code itself.)

Click button: URL=

You should get a popup box that tells you to enter your URL. Enter your hatchery url in that box and hit confirm.

You should see this: (minus the spaces)

[ url=http://www.sylestia.com/view/hatchery/?userid=16385][ /url]

Type a word in between the brackets

[ url=http://www.sylestia.com/view/hatchery/?userid=16385]type your word here[ /url]


Things that will cause you problems: Using the wrong URL, deleting or displacing any of the coding. (Simple issue with a moved bracket)

Or using the IMG= button instead of the URL button.

I'm not positive but it sounds like you used the IMG button.

Also, realize there are 2 diff URL buttons, using the wrong one will cause it to not work right.

Follow the above steps, copy and paste if you would like (Just take out the extra spaces.)

I Did That. If I Try To Edit The Post, I Can See Where It Says [url]Www Blahblahblah But It Is Not Their When I Post. Ah, That's What The Problem Was, I Didn't Add Any Text For My Link. Thanks So Much, Now I Feel Like An Idiot! lol
