I wouldn't say it's like stepping on A landmine... I'd say it's like stepping on 2 at the same time. If you shift your weight to the one foot, to put a rock where the other was, you have to have a bigger rock for the foot you shifted to.

Hey Krin. Just to let you know... Mythbusters have proven that you can't replace a rock with your foot on a landmine. But if you wanna try... XD

Why not just put the site down / in maintenance mode for a bit? It's not like people would give up on the site, or get mad (If they're sensible.) So long as it was warned of in advance.
