I was just looking at my themed pets through the new search and came upon a ryori that said was themed, but should not have been.

I opened up the pet's page and checked the tagging area and saw the tag there as well, and I know I did not capture her as a themed pet. She was a wild pet.

I also do not use dyes on themed pets.

Looking through them all, it seems the first few dozen "Spooky Ryories" are a little off. At some point around this time, I changed the code for themed pets and their color swings (by greatly reducing the color swings).

It's maybe possible the color swing was that bad on common themed pets?

Either way though, there isn't much I can do. As an owner, I guess just be happy you have another Spooky Ryori? Lol.

As a buyer, it's your choice to buy Spooky Ryori that look like they should or maybe you want the few "odd ones out" because they're different?

There are many pets like it, even some other species. All are the first version of fall festival pet, and have the earliest pet ID's so they were most likely caught BEFORE the actual festival version's release, which is where I think the mis-tagging occurred. I say this because I'm 99.999999% sure that my Spooky was the first one caught. About 5-10 minutes after the announcement of the festival ryori version being released I captured one and shared with the world. No one else had mentioned one, and mine is where the mis-colored ones stop. >.>

I think it's kind of cool that there are bugged pets like that though. More rare than any themed pet that's for sure. :D
