Now that the pet search is available and so wonderfully detailed, I've picked up on something a bit.. odd.
To my knowledge, I'm the first one to have caught a Spooky Ryori, and yet there are some earlier captured that are marked as Spooks. But their colors are... well, to put it simple they're not that spooky.
I decided to check over the rest of the pets as well, just for my own curiosity, and I did come across a few more. All are the FIRST variation of Fall Festival Pets, and all have the EARLIEST pet ID's on the list.
I highly doubt that this many people could have been the first to capture these coveted pets and been so upset with the festival pet's colors that they'd spend ten pet dyes just to change them.
On a side note... Krin, the new pet search is absolutely AMAZING!! <3
And very useful for finding out bugs like this one. :D

It is possible that the owners used pet dyes. Atm, pet dye use isn't tracked so I have no way to confirm. You would just have to ask the owners of those pets.
