Hello Im new, you can call me Grace or Gracie, and I would love to know how to get a pet and how to get scales, Also for some reason I cant click any mage on the explore map :)

To get a pet, follow the tutorial - there should be a long blue bar in the lower right of the screen if it's minimized, if it's not minimized, you'll definitely se it! You'll be walked through how to make a generated pet.

To get scales, you have to go to account > hatchery, and click on "help nurture Sylesties". Then use the search function to search for sylesties and just click them to nurture them. You have to pick the right option to get the scale though. (ex. if the egg is warm, click "cool the egg")

How to get pets: You can capture pets while exploring zones. But you must have a net. To capture, you have to be in battle. Then, you clock the red arrow thing and select trap. It is important to check if the color of the trap is identical to the pet. Unless you're using a master trap or the pet you are battling is lower than the quality of your trap.

Scales. You can get scales by nurturing. How to nurture? You can nurture egglings and hatchlings. You must go on their profile and click their image. Or you can use the help nurture Sylesti option in your hatchery. Then, you will see options. If you click the right one, you get a scale!

Egglings:
This Eggling is cool: Warm It
This Eggling is warm: Cool it
This Eggling is Dull: Polish it
This Eggling is Restless: Turn It

Hatchlings:
This Hatchling is Weak: Work out with It
This Hatchling is Derpy: Read to It
This hatchling is Hungry: Offer it Food
This hatchling is Slow: Race with It
This Hatchling is Restless: Play with it

You also have a chance of finding an essence while nurturing. The essence will be the same breed of the hatchling/egg you nurtured,

And the other zones have not yet been created. The available ones are Astryville, Umbra Forest, and Esior's Feilds
