Hello peeps! I wanted to create a thread where everyone can share the inspiration behind their Sylestian names! Your past names or current names! Each has their own story!

I'll start off with mine, it use to be Monstercatgirl based off of the canadian broadcast system because of my love for EDM, after a few years it got changed to Hershey after the chocolate bar from my love of chocolates!

Well, mine used to be Valkyriespirit because my parents called me there Valkyrie and Im very proud of my Norwegian heritage.
Then it changed to Insertnamehere34 because I chose that name when I was in like the 6th grade on other games and just decided to stick with it for some reason.
And now its Raidenei because the Raiden Shogun/Raiden Ei is my favorite and comfort character from Genshin Impact so I just decided to change my user lol.

If I'm being honest, I selected my username based on a Thailand singing group named XI. Their Instagram handle is @xi.worldstar, and that is how my username came to be!

I'm a HUGE skyrim fan, and Frostfall is a month (and a mod) in Skyrim and i thought sounded really pretty, so that's how my username came to be!

a lot of my usernames came from old roleplaying forum games i used to pop in on, they're characters i've made in the past. where the names themselves came from is mostly just words in different languages or from other characters i took inspiration from.

yureiNeko is just ghost cat in romaji, its an old character i made ages ago that i just havent really felt like i needed to leave behind.

NightLight came from someplace else though, there's a character in the Guardian's of Childhood series named Nightlight that i'm very fond of. i like using his name sometimes.
more people would probably know him from the movie though. in the series he is the person who became Jack Frost after giving up his life and becoming a human, as he appears in the Rise of the Guardians movie.

my username is based on a quote from a roblox game i like called super paper roblox !!!
one of the first things my favorite character says in his area is "the folly of man is a wonderful thing, isn't it?" and i thought that sounded cool so i decided to make a username based on it hehe
originally it was thefollyofman but the @ was taken on twitter so i changed it to THEF0LLY0FMAN and it's been my main username ever since :3 (its meant to be in all caps but it didnt really do that on sylestia haha)

Me? I just decided to do something based on Fluffle Puff, a cute, fluffy pink pony which is very adorable.

My parents were going to name me Enid or Edith, but when I was born they changed their minds and picked something totally different. I decided to combine them and I've been using it as a username my whole life.

So my name "Sagerella" came from a name that I wanted and still want to use for like a nickname because I am Trans, the nickname would be Sage but I added a little spice to the name by putting "rella" at the end, but "rella" was just something I made up in my mind!

I have a plain name, so plain that 6 other girls in my first grade class in a town of 5000 people had the same first name. I always wished I were named Laurel, for some reason. So because Laurel is taken in a lot of places I had fun with it and made it Laurelee.

I honestly have several different usernames spread all over the internet in the past 20 years that I've been playing online games. I use them on sites with different themes. Laurelee is my go-to for fantasy-type sites.
