Evidently I joined whilst under the influence of too much New Year's Eve cheer, because I completely forgot I had an account here and didn't even finish the tutorial. I clicked a banner ad on another game and discovered my account and starter pet still here. So I've actually been playing since the first week of November 2019. That's why I might ask newbie questions on the forums. I'm really enjoying myself now that I'm here, though.
