It appears that the new hotkeys function even when you've clicked the text box in region chat and are typing in there. For example, the "get in boat" event. Walk up to the dock, press e, it only works if you're not typing in chat. Then with the popup, if you type e in chat you will get in the boat.

It shouldn't allow that if the text box for Region Chat is focused. However, CometChat's IM boxes won't work that way and hotkeys will go through if you are typing in there.
Are you sure hotkeys are working with Region Chat input box focused? I just tested it myself and it worked correctly.

I'm not sure what you mean by "focused".
This is what my screen looks like. (My mouse is in the textbox of regional chat, just took the screenshot at a time it blinked off)

Are you using the Sylestia extension? I tested it with & without, & it seems that it's causing the issue.

I changed the script files with the recent update. Perhaps the extension hasn't been updated to match my updates.
