To celebrate the Spring we will be having an outdoor scavenger hunt! So yes...this means you must go outside to find the items on the list. If you take any pictures indoors for any of the listed items then it will not count. :)

Once you have found something on the list I ask that you take a picture of it with a piece of paper with your Sylestia username and the date on it. This is so that I know that you are the one that is actually finding the things. :) You also must include pictures, if you don't then your scavenger hunt will not count.

You may not use the same image for multiple answers.

Additionally, please do not use the same submission as you may have used in previous Scavenger Hunts. We ask that you seek out new places and things!

Once you have found everything that you could, come back and post your pictures here in the correct order of the list. If there is a difficult picture where you can't photo whatever you're trying to photo and also get your name tag in it at the same time, you may take a picture without your name tag in it THEN immediately afterwards take a photo of your name tag in the area where you were trying to photo. So you would list both photos for that point on the forums.

You do not have to find everything on the list. But for each one you find you will receive a point. The more points you have the more times your name will be included in the random generator for when we do the prizes.

Everyone that also participates with at least 12 scavenger finds will receive the Title: Nature Walker.

Note: Please be respectful of nature. Do not harm anything of nature while you are outside. Please do not remove, destroy, or harm any nests or anything of that sort. And please leave everything that you find outside (unless it is litter, then you can remove that and throw it away). Also, please do not endanger yourself or others to obtain any of these pictures. Thank you!

Took my dog out for a long walk to do the scavenger hunt! Was a little afraid of running into a cottonmouth but thankfully we didn't see any snakes. We almost found everything, living on a farm has it's perks! But maybe I should leave the dog behind when trying to photograph a small animal...

1. A budding flower.
Hydrangeas, one of my favorite flowers.

2. A tree with blossoms.
An apple tree's blossoms. Planted this tree about 2-3 years ago now.

3. A piece of trash.
A shredded piece of trash, think it might have once been a cup. We live on a highway so we're always cleaning other people's trash off of our property.

4. A wild berry bush.
Blackberries, hopefully they'll be ripe in about a month or so.

5. A pond or body of water.
The closest pond to the house on our property. Also the only one with no cottonmouths sited. We don't like getting close to spicy noodles.

6. Something that's fallen from a tree (a nut).
Acorns. We've got hundreds of them around here!

7. Traces of animal activity (like footprints or burrows).
Based on the size and shape, I'm guessing a coyote. We've got lots of those too.

8. A mushroom or other type of fungi.
Red mushie! It's so cute, but I'm pretty sure it's not edible (not that I'd eat it anyway).

9. A spiderweb.
I hate spiders! Thankfully this little guy didn't seem to mind me snapping a pic of his handiwork.

10. A piece of tree bark on the ground.

11. A leaf larger than your hand.
I was expecting to find like a Sycamore leaf but instead I found whatever this is.

12. A patch of clover.
We might as well be a clover farm! This one wasn't hard at all!

13. A Y-shaped stick.
Had to find a second one because my twin's Great Pyranese stepped on and snapped the first one!

14. A smooth pebble or rock.
Fished this out of one of our three creeks. We're surrounded by water!

15. A pinecone.
Pinecone tree has lots of pinecones. Baby pinecones and big pinecones.

16. A feather.
A feather from one of our chickens (feather came off naturally, I didn't pluck it). We have almost twenty chickens so it wasn't hard to find a loose feather.

17. A butterfly or other insect.
Albino centipede? Idk. Elle doesn't know either.

18. A squirrel or other small mammal.
Cat caught a chipmunk, well, almost caught. Just after I snapped a pic the critter shot up a tree and my cat was too lazy to follow xD My info card is a bit blurry because the camera only wanted to focus on the chipmunk and I was moving when I took the pic. Lol, fun times!

19. A bird's nest.
Again didn't get too close and used the zoom on my camera. Didn't want to scare any birdies.

20. A dandelion or other yellow flower.
I thought that dad had mowed over all the dandelions but I found one that managed to survive!

Just saying., there is No way that fungi grow here at this time, so that is out of picture for me.
