I was playing around with a breeding project using the new wings mutation for Lighira (fabulous mutation!).

While I was happy with the wings, I continuously found myself unhappy with the body, although I wasn't sure why.

Finally I think I figured out what was bothering me...

While the new wings are shaded nicely, the shading on the base Lighira appears to be almost non-existant (I can see it is there, it is just really really light in comparison to other shading, such as on the wings). This makes the Lighira body look very flat in comparison to the wings, especially when viewed at the smaller size:



This is even more noticeable on the males when the mane is a lighter color. The mane just turns into one big dull flat area:



Again, I can see there is shading there, I just think the opacity needs to be adjusted so the shading appears a little darker. That will prevent the Lighira from looking so flat...I think.

Yeah, I kinda realized that. That's why I'm not too big a fan of them, lol. Afpgreed! Must have better shading! XD

We know about the Lighira shading. Once Vella has time and doesn't have a lot of things to do, we plan on revamping all the pet shading to better match how the Griffi are shaded.
