for several months now, opening items in the inventory is super slow. i timed them, most take about 2 seconds, but every few, one will take like 8-10 seconds. i do a lot of missions and it's a big pain for the mission satchels

is there a way to fix this?

Are you using any browser extension that might be tampering with the page in some way?

Additionally, can you tell me which items specifically take the longest to load? Do those items always take very long to load, or just sometimes? Or, is it just random and some items that load instantly also sometimes load in 5-10 seconds?

i do have one extension.. i've had it longer than the problem though. i'll try setting it to not run on sylestia and see what happens.

ok, i opened more mission satchels. turning off the extension does seem to have made it a good bit faster. it seems to be random items. it happens when like, sometimes the whole pages refreshes when opening something, that's when it takes a long time

Under optimal conditions, opening items from Inventory definitely can take an average of 2-3 seconds. This is just due to the bulky back end code and the way it delivers results to 'print' back to your browser.

I would say though that if you are seeing 5-10+ seconds, that's abnormal.

If the extension seemed to be the reason for the 5-10+ second delay, I'd say that this probably resolves this issue. However, if you're still getting 5-10+ second delays without any extensions enabled, let me know and let me know the specific item(s) that you opened that triggered that.

All in all, both the Inventory page and the process of using items are extremely outdated and inefficient code. They will 100% be rebuilt in the future.
