Here's a laundry list of gripes which is a whisper to the wind.

I don't know how else to put it, but, breeding stock should have remained. While I think peoples pet projects are tertiary to the safety of real people, I believe that pets that had been listed for breeding should have remained as I now am SOL on a project I was working on as all the breeding stock for this restricted wild trait is just gone, now, due to You Know What.

Ever since You Know What my entire game-play has been ruined. I have been unable to play and with every day that passes I am growing more and more and more discontent with the lack of accessibility, the constant feeling that I am being ignored about my concerns, the lack of privacy, the lack of mitigation of the damage this would do (which is still Those Ones Faults, but)... I don't know. I just.

Ever since the recent Wave, I just. Don't. Play. Feel like I am being hazed out, forced out, driven out. Keyboard commands are cool and all for nurturing but I still have Brain Damage. I need color coded buttons that match a color coded key word-- like the extension that I had to uninstall because of You Know What. I am so invested in this site, but I feel like I am just being driven off of it and like my voice is unheard and uncared for. Which is the total opposite of what I felt when I joined and.

People who are now gone. Made me feel welcome and like my concerns were heard.

People who are now gone made the accessibility features that are now gone.

That. Stings.

I am worried that even saying this much will get me in trouble. I don't want to be sacked, too, when I vehemently disagree with those people who are now gone. But I am still very hurt and upset that my 2 hour long post was completely ignored by staff despite several other players saying they wish they'd read MY post.

Ha... I feel so. Alone. And. . .. like I have lost one of the only things I've gained since losing my entire life. .. . . Just. Please. Please. Please . Start... doing SOMETHING about the accessibility and privacy concerns. There is NO reason that a logged out user should be able to view everything I post everywhere. You seriously need to find a way to lock your forums and the profiles to logged-in users only.

This entire situation has felt a whole lot like "Someone messed up so now we punish EVERYONE."

As the devs have posted, they're working on it. I honestly don't think it will take long- it didn't take long for the hotkeys, so I doubt color coding will take much longer. There's also a new extension already, as someone linked in your last post, which color codes currently.


As for being ignored- I'd say far from it. You're the most vocal about these concerns, and the devs are adding more accessibility as quickly as they can. It's just a matter of time, as coding can take time.


All in all, please don't let this all get you down! Things are quickly getting better, they just can't get better instantly.

When it come to genetic loss, i am kind of expecting an event somtime this year to handle that, probably during black fryday or somthing like that. It is what usualy happen to allow new traits to enter old themmed gene pool already so it's more of a matter of when instead of a matter of if. Otherwhise, i may be able to help finding whatever gene you may nead since i tend to just catch whatever pet i come across with the LG traits.

Hopefully Krin can respond with whatever he's working on. I feel he's been playing whack a mole lately trying to add new features, tweak features just recently released, and weather the storm of You Know What. But he's been actively trying to add the features people asked for. Not just you, all of us.

Bananafood mentioned getting a Firefox version of the extension approved, though last I looked the Chromestore hadn't yet. It includes the color coded keys. And they're making it open source on Github in case they ever stop developing it, so someone else can pick up.

For the lost genepool, I can't speak for the reason behind that, but it's going to take some time to replenish. Maybe use the breeding forum to ask if anyone who has those genes is willing to open them up to breeding fees?

First, thank you so much for adding the color coding. It's greatly appreciated. Second, I have many of the same issues OP has. (Schizophrenic, and I have tardive dyskinesia after years of taking anti psychotics. It causes involuntary muscle spasms in my hands and feet.)

But, I understand that right now people have a lot on their plates. If it'd be possible for someone to add the corresponding color to the key word(s), that'd be amazing. In the meanwhile, I can still get through LG, and Lucky Draw is still enthralling me.
