This thread is dedicated to the Faelora species. Please post any image issues for the Faelora species in this thread. Image issues can include missing artwork, layering issues, erroneous lines or markings on the artwork, etc. Basically, if something is not appearing correctly, please let us know.

Before posting, please make sure that your issue is not already posted in this thread!

When posting, please provide an image example of the issue as well as text explaining the issue. If applicable, please circle or emphasize the issue at hand so that we can clearly see what you are referring to.

Once we have fixed a reported issue, we will just simply remove the post for that issue. If the issue returns or we did not fully fix it and your post was removed, just re-post a new one pointing out the new or same issue.

Thank you in advance!

Note: The Faelora are imminently about to be revamped. Their older artwork is going to be entirely replaced. There is no point in posting about their older artwork's issues.

Wondering if this is how skeleton was intended to look..
On females the neck has skeleton showing, but on males neck / chest there doesnt seem to be much skeleton trait showing?

The male's C2 'underbelly' seems to be overlapping but the female's artwork doesnt do that.

So something I've noticed with Variegated while prepping for Summer designs. It actually blends with C3 entirely. Not sure if it was intended?

(Using this color for an example 00FF0D - displayed on the Vorpa since it's the most solid-colored example I can provide rather than just a hex code, lol)

Variegated on white leaves is basically a pastel version.

Variegated on dark blue (what I was playing with) is very dulled out.

Variegated on black makes it way, way darker, but still bold and saturation.

Variegated on bright red makes it... a weird, snotty-greenish-yellow? Okay, most of the others weren't "bad", exactly, but for this one it looks like someone wiped their nose on the Fae's leaves >.>

In all of these examples, the AC1 is 00FF0D, bright, lime-colored 00FF0D, but the results are vastly different based on C3, and it's pretty much impossible to get the true AC1 color unless it matches C3 already, which ruins the point of it being an accent. It's the only trait that does a full blended overlay (some do have a "fade" but the true AC1 is present at the opposite end rather than being 100% covered) so I'm wonder if this is intended?

If it is intended, may I suggest removing the overlaying C3 color and let the true AC1 come into play instead? It's only a few little streaks of AC1, and other than resulting in weird colors, the AC1 can almost completely disappear in other situations.
IE, bold purple on dark blue; the bold purple is practically gone but with a G1 trait using the same colors, you can clearly see the difference between all 3. Same exact colors, but with different results.

Also made G3 and AC1 identical just to see what would happen. It makes the trait 3-tone even though it only has 2 different colors.

It's just weird all around, but otherwise I am absolutely in love with this trait. I just wish I could have the AC1 I actually chose.

The art on the hatchling male for Valentine's Lace has a funky glow behind the back legs.
Art with light background:

With a Dark background:

I did check the adult male and female and the hatchling female, the error is only on the hatchling male art.

Color saturation consistency, for some reason the colors are far brighter on hatchlings than on the adult female faelora (at least for C4 and G1 Antelope). I'm not sure if this is intentional.

?? Weird colour draw: G2 Point Coloration

All

Point Coloration gene draws all its colour from C4, and doesn't use the G2 colour at all?
like, given that it's all of them I assume it's deliberate, but it just strikes us as very strange that a G2 trait doesn't actually use the G2 slot colour? (is it meant to make the points match the antlers on the male? and if that, why not make it so it changes the antler colour instead)

Faelora(F)'s Jingle Bell Bridle is coloured by a mix of C5 and M3, making it look green here.
