I had two items that I couldn't separate because they were the same type. I wanted to sell one for coins. When I moved them to the sales area, they both disappeared but I never got any coins. What? Those were worth a thousand scales! That took forever to get!
What happened? How do I get it back or make sure it doesn't happen again?

Some highly valuable items aren't worth anything if you just dump them in the void. For example, say item A took me 5M gold to get. But when I put it in the green area (sales area) I don't get anything. You can see how much you will get when you sell it if you hover over the item and look at the bottom right where there's a Gold icon. The number next to the icon? That's the amount of gold you'll get. If you want to actually sell it for your own custom price, press the "Broker Item" button. I believe there is no way to redo it/get it back once you sell it.

And to separate two items that are the same on PC/computer, hold down Shift, press on the item you want to separate and click an available spot in your inventory.

To add on to what Kivoichi said, you can also separate stacks of items by clicking on the stack, then clicking on the stack of gold coins under the inventory box (next to the envelope with an arrow that is used to send items to other people). The gold coins will then turn green and you can click an open slot and a window will pop up asking how many of the item you want to split into a new stack. put in the number, click okay, and the stack will split.

For the items that you accidentally sold back to the site, the best thing you can do is contact Krinadon and see if he can get them back for you. He is the site Admin. I'm not sure if things tossed into the void *can* be gotten back, but if they can, he would be the only one that could get them back for you. Worst case scenario, he says it's not possible and you're no worse off than you are now.

Scaleshop Philters are not worth gold when site-sold using right-click, unlike things like festival avatar items or pet equipment (the little number on the bottom left of an item's description tells you how much they are worth when sold back to the site. Additionally, there is an number directly under the site-sell box at the far right that shows the total gold site-sell gold worth of the items that are currently in the box)

To sell to other Players (where scaleshop philters sell for a lot of gold, generally) you use the Broker button at the bottom of the inventory, which brings up a popup with the Trade Broker sales information and the 'input price per item' box

I went ahead and reimbursed the two [Lesser Philter of Vigor] to you. You can collect the items via your Trades.

Cool, thanks for the tips everyone! That helped, and they worked.

Now I've brokered 2 eggs for 400 each and I don't have any more coins than I had before.

Did I do something wrong again or is this a glitch?

If you put them on the Trade Broker, you just have to wait for someone to purchase them!
You can check that they are still there if you go to "Trade Broker" and click the tab labeled "Your Listings."

Edit: I did just look on the broker, and I can see your 2 eggs listed, so you're all set. Just wait for someone to buy them, or until the sale expires in 10 days or so :)
