This was also mentioned in Region Chat by someone else and I've been having this issue since last yesterday. I'm on mobile, not sure about the details of their issue.


I'll have a tab open for sylestia, such as an explore window, and then I'll throw sylestia in the background and go do something else, or I'll walk off entirely and come back in like 15 or so minutes.

When I get back to the sylestia tab, I find that I've been logged out and have to relog. It's already a couple of times today and it's only 9:30 am.

Not like, the biggest deal in the world, but it's very odd.

Thus far I haven't been logged out while actively on the site (ie: walking, walking, walking, logout? or battle, battle, battle, logout mid battle?) but that could just be coincidental. Will try to update with situational scenarios leading up to the logout.

This is quite consistent with my experience as well. I believe I was logged out last night but did not think much of it, but if I leave for just a few minutes this morning and check back, I need to log in again.

I also requested a password change out of an abundance of caution but never received the email (and I checked all folders, including junk).

Tab was in caves but I clicked to my profile to see if inbox or missions would be highlighted; didn't seem to reload the exploration tab itself when I first returned.
Profile page loaded with me logged out.


Was still in the caves and left mobile around 12pm for family and cooking.
around ~ 2:15 pm, came back and the page immediately loaded up a "you must log in first, no explore for you!" message.

Forgot when I stopped playing. Was hanging out by the orb of memories. Came back and was logged out again.

Thus far, this has never happened to me while actively playing, only after I return from a break.

Yeah, I've been getting logged out multiple times the past two days too. Started just before the Easter Event began.

Hi all,

The same thing has been happening to me all day--I'm getting ready for some real-life Easter festivities, and every once in a while I'll pop on Sylestia to pass some time while waiting for the eggs to boil or whatnot, but when I pull the game tab back up it has logged me out.

I'm playing on mobile (Android), and while the game isn't making me do the email verification code or anything, it still is a little frustrating having to log back in each time. Sylestia doesn't normally do this...It has just been happening today, from what I have noticed.


Update:

This morning I just opened up Sylestia on my phone to feed the pets and do a couple of quick things. Normally when doing this I would already still be logged into the game, but this time I was logged out again. No verification process was needed, though.

My info:

Device: Android phone

Browser: Latest version of Google Chrome

Circumstances: It seems that anytime I have the game minimized on my phone and inactive for a while, I will return to find it logged out. It does not log me out in the middle of gameplay, nor does it log out every time I minimize the window.

I have not switched devices during this time.

As to what part of the game I have open when this happens, it has varied. It's usually an in-progress exploration of the World Map or my Stables/Hatchery. Often multiple tabs have been open, but sometimes not.

I can add the experience of someone on a laptop to this. Normally when I close my browser/turn off my computer, then come turn things back on, as long as I'm still using the same IP I don't have to log back in. The last two days however (ever since the unscheduled downtime), anytime I close the browser, then reopen, I have to log back in. I think that this is likely similar to what the people on mobile are experiencing, just that mobile is reading them going away from the tab as 'closing' the tab? Less annoying on a laptop, but still not ideal.

Same for me, I have noticed I have had to log in more often recently.

I've been having this issue too. I'm on a mac on google chrome, and I was logged out a couple times yesterday and then at least 4 times today. If I shut my laptop for like 15 mins with Sylestia still open, and then open my laptop again, I'm logged out.

I'm having this issue too. I'm also on google chrome on my laptop and if I walk away from Sylestia for more than fifteen minutes it logs me out. And it makes me go through the varication too which it doesn't normally when I log in from the same IP address.

Edit: The logging out seems to be resolved on my laptop. The issue was happening to me around midafternoon until five or so.

I've been having the same issue. I've been logged out every time I've closed the tab and reopened it a few hours later. I thought it was just because I went to visit family so my IP changed, but now that I'm back I'm still having the issue. I hope it gets fixed because its quite annoying having to log in every time.
