What with the new crystalized traits I was wondering if for the past 2 crystalized griff themes - since they can have the new trait added one - if we could have an option to update the g1 to a different color that better fits the new trait. Usually I wouldn't suggest this for a new trait but with these being a restricted trait set it would be nice to have old themes work with it.

My suggestion

Change G1 to: EADAF5

Sanguine Crystallized
original

My suggestion

Change G1 to: F7E1C6

The new trait totally messes with the themes as they exist now cause they werent supposed to have that trait. I dont like your proposed changes as much as the old versions

Changing to a light purple for instance still messes with the head colour. The new G1 pulls from g1 for the stripes and the c3 for the "base" underneath it

Both colours need to be changed if the idea behind the new theme is to remain. I really like the 2nd one

This isnt saying i dont like the trait, these designs were just not built to be more than 4v

Moving onto sanguine crystal. Where in the heck did that orange come from? xD like um no

Poor griff, again these designs werent ever meant to be more than 4v.
But changing the G1 AND c3 fixes the issues and the theme can look similar to how it was intended

mostly the thing I don't understand is why the dominant colour in the new trait is the C3 rather than the G1 colour?

I feel like it would have been much easier to work in to the previous sets if it had been the other way around?
I have messed around in Photoshop to inspect what this would look like:
ice cream

crystalized

sanguine

I made my changes without changing any of the previous colors as I was trying to avoid doing that

Support from me! I personally like Scaths suggestion of having G1 be the dominant color as opposed to C3.
Its not a huge change but it looks so much better on the 2 older griffis.

The G1 idea is nice. Sometimes I wonder if it'd be worthwhile to just add a couple more accent colors if it's possible to help cover for traits that were later introductions. One of my past themes, the Divine Pomegranate, came out before the butterfly wing mutation was made. Unfortunately, the otherwise gorgeous wings look awful on it, but if say there were new accent colors made then it would just mess up every design made after they came out that took it into consideration. Perhaps a bunch of old themes could use some touch ups eventually maybe after the griffies get a slight touch up themselves sometime in the future. Some griffies also predate the accent colors to begin with.

Looking at my past griffi themes, the new trait just unfortunately doesn't look good on them either. I sorta didn't want to look cause I had a strong suspicion this would be the case.

I was curious and entertained myself doing the same thing I did with the crystalized themes for your three presented themes, Savynn:

The Secret Treasure one looks like a lot like a bee, but the other two are pretty neat
