Magic is illegal in this world but Ava doesn't care much. She's never been caught or seen doing it so why bother? But that changes when someone notices her using it... will they keep it a secret?

Powers: You need fire, she has it! She doesn't think they're as cool (or useful...and they tax her energy/burn her if she's not careful) as her brother's but oh well.
Magic is illegal in this world and Kari straight up honestly doesn't care too much- i mean, who on earth needs a fire girl? Right????

Appearance: redhead foxboy, but his hair's a more dusty red then Kari's bright red. Also he's so bad at hiding his tail (and ears) that he just wears a trenchcoat everywhere nowadays. II actually have no image for him but just know he hasn't hit his growth spurt yet. Somehow.
Powers: Earth and metal manipulation, nothing too great. He could probably make you a smal staircase up an incline or something or maybe make your pins bend in half but he honestly hasn't tried anything too big. He's convinced he'll pass out if he does.
Magic is illegal in this world and Ken had bad influences as best friends and cousins so he toes the line way too much. It's toned down a lot since one of his cousins and one of his best friends got caught sometime back though...

It was early in the morning. School starts at 8am and it is 6:30.
Caitlynn is a early bird. She gets up and has breakfast first then hops in the shower. It's now 7am after she gets out and the. She gets ready for school. By 7:20ish she's out the door and on the bus.

The same morning Ava woke up late for school. It was already after 7 when she woke up. She hurried to get dressed and almost didn't get to the bus in time. She sat by Caitlynn since they are basically best friends.

They casually chatted about how cold it was and how Ava almost missed the bus.

"You really need to set your alarm earlier Ava..." Caitlynn said.
"Hey I don't wake up with alarms. It's a gamble every morning because of that haha."
They bother laughed a little and continued to chat about random things.

Kari and Ken finally got onto the bus. Or at least, Ken did. Kari kind of used her brother as a makeshift bed but sideways.

Ken dragged the mto a seat near two other girls. "I told you it was a bad idea to sleep late and stay up late." he gurmbled, dropping his sister into the seat.
"You were up at 3am arguing about potato chips with the vampire wannabe, tell it to yourself hypocrite." Kari yawned. "Why is school so early here anyways? It's an outrage."

Ava over heard their conversation and jumped up a little.
"Yes! I totally agree with you. I don't understand why we have to be up so early when we could just go later. I love sleep too much to just have it ruined by school..."
She said with excitement, happy someone agrees with her unlike Caitlynn

"You know it's good to wake up early? You can't wake up at noon every day..." Caitlynn said, crossing her arms.
"Hey I can always dream of that reality haha." Ava said with a smile.
