Newt rolled his eyes. He'd gotten teased by his siblings on a wide branch of subjects, from his love of books to the fact he wore a hoddie almost everywhere he went, so the snickering didn't bother him too much.

Luccky for him his bavck was to the sun now so he could shield his legs with his body.

For now, anyway.

It didn't help there wasn't much of water breaks or anything.

He kept on working. THough a good bit slower.

Some of the workers started to murmur among each other, mostly out of pity

Newt just ignored them and kept working. Hedearned the art of ignoring people quite well, a pro from living with a lot of people

It was soon lunch break

Newt's face, legs, and hands were extremely red already. The unseen parts of him were only slightly better. He was just happy to get in the shade.

He wasn't the only one. The rest were also glad to be able to go into the shade

One of the servants eyed Newt. "Hey, what's your name anyways? You never told us."

"Newt."

The worker had to bite his lip to keep from laughing.

"Newt? Why did you get named Newt?"
