Elysse ties a blindfold around your head, spins you around a couple of times, and leads you in a maze of twists and turns that you couldn't remember if you tried. Finally, you come to a stop, and she puts something that feels like a ring in your hand.
"This ring will take you out of the world if you spin it three times around your finger, but I advise you not to use it except in extreme emergencies." she explains. "Please wait a few seconds before moving once I remove the blindfold to ensure stability. Remember the rules, and happy exploring!"
She whips off your blindfold, but you don't see her standing where her voice was coming from. Instead, you're standing all alone in a lush forest, with trees bearing fruit you don't recognize all around you and melodious birdsong coming from overhead.

I stand stunned and can't help but admire the beauty of the forest. Instead of staying and wondering where I am, I decide to continue into the forest.

You head forward and instantly smack headfirst into something very solid and sticky. It seems as though only your face is in it, though.

Not being able to think right, I almost decide to scream, but realize I'm too hungry for that since I like to snack too much. Instead, I try to roll on the ground to get off the sticky stuff. I hate the sticky feeling, so I try to roll like a mad man.

You can't see anything but more feathers, covering the entire floor as far as you can see. You notice that the darkness at the edge of your light is curling and shifting, almost like mist.
