Ainsleigh, Ashleigh & Tatsu

Tatsu was dandling baby Ashleigh on his knee, even as Pine was giving the meeting. Ainsleigh was keeping a careful eye upon them every opportunity she could give it. She trusted Tatsu, now that they had chosen to accept her, but natural, maternal instincts were hard to counter. Ashleigh had opened her eyes only that morning and Ainsleigh and Tatsu took turns caring for her, playing with her, and even hunting small game for her to enjoy. Ainsleigh took Ashley from Tatsu and licked at the side of the little darling's mouth where some morsel of sparrow had dangled from her early morning meal. Then she lay her against her bosom and Ashleigh cuddled up against her happily. The little dear even stared at Pine. Her unknown familial connection to him having that instinctive draw. Tatsu's left hand started reaching toward the babe, but Ashleigh sneered at him a little. It was time for her to settle down before her nap. It was just then that Tatsu noticed they were being watched by the Zolnixi couple. Tatsu looked at Tomen, "Since you two have taken residence together, were ye thinking about takin' in a little furball or two?" He inquired.

Ainsleigh turned and looked where Tatsu was chatting at. Ashleigh occasionally would squawk at Ainsleigh for attention when she was looking. Ainsleigh would tut her and settle her back down. "They need all sorts of care, looking after, feeding and attention. And ye can forget about a full night sleep for a month." She said looking straight at Blue. "It's the most miserable thing in the world, ta love someone so much that ye'll neglect yer own needs and wants to make sure they are taken care of and satisfied before ye'll even think of yerself." She snorted a little as well. "Sometimes, I'd rather battle a field full of enemies. But then you'll here those little cries from that babe that needs you to do everything for them and yer heart just melts, and yer Mummy again. I'd give everything I am to just hear one of my little ones call me Mummy once more."

"Couldn't hurt ta hope that Ashleigh will have some little friends to play an' grow up with." Tatsu added in sneakily.

Ainsleigh chuckled at Blue's naivety even as she started cradling Ashleigh in her arms. "Ye've got a willing male in paws reach and yer only a short walk away from yer quarters. E'en if tisn't yer time, I'm sure he'll perform any service ye desire. And ye got a nursery full if'n ye don't wanna wait ta lay yer own eggs."

"Yer own hatchlings are only as far away as ye permit'em ta be." Tatsu added as he accepted Tomen's invitation and aided Ainsleigh up with her bundle. "We can carry this on over the feedbag." He said.

Vee walked over to Shi. "May i ask how you know that spell? Infinite Doorway?"

Nina lead apollo into her room only to see a ryori egg left in her room.

"Hmm.. Weird." Vee said. "I've never heard of i, so you must be one of the few that knows it." She guessed. Magic was a strange thing.
