"YEah don't worry about it, she's just- ow!" Leo was cut off by a pokeball hitting him in the head, he managed to grab the ball before it hit the ground, but his head still hurt. "This is... oh! A shinx! Must be the cub of her Luxray" Leo said, looking at the small cub.

Emolga burst out, eagerly greeting the Electric type. "Gonna have the type advantage in the trial." She said.

"Same" Leo said, sending out his shinx, who barked happily. "I gotta train him though, he's only level... 8" Leo told her.

"Yeah, that's gonna be a setback. The totem is about level 20."

"I'll only need to get him to around 17 with the type advantage" Leo shrugged as he walked to the Pokemon center.

"True." She said. Swoobat tugged her towards the center. "I'm going, Swoobat,"

Once his Pokemon were healed, Leo was at the Cafe drinking a Roserade tea. "You know, depending on where the Roserade with raised changed the flavor of the leaves, it's a subtle taste, but prepared correctly, it really brings out the quality of the tea" Leo explained. "I would assume a Roserade from alola would be best with a fruity bubble tea, where Sinnoh Roserade taste best iced tea, I would know, I've experienced it first hand" Leo told the Cafe owner.

"Wow. I would say I wasn't expecting that, but I'm the same when it comes to Poke Puffs," she said, with a slight smirk.

"I'm a bit of an expert on Poffins, and know enough about Pokepuffs, I've learned a lot about food from my experience as a contest trainer" Leo told her.

"I remember hearing that a Pokmon's diet was really important. Kalos contests are kinda scary, since they're mainly focused on the beauty bit. People seem to go to crazy lengths for that,"
