Newt started reeling off what could easily e a resume. "I'm currentl ya paid assistant at the local library, I help with the family restaurant business doing calculations, my brother pays me to help him with training and competitions for his derby races, I'm the treasurer for my other brother's hardware store business..."

She interrupted him. "Have you ever worked outside? Not with horses, but housework? Ever?"

"If you're planning on having me doing anything related to cooking and kitchens, I should warn you that I got moved to do accounting for a reason. I've also been banned from the greenhouse." Newt said, adjusting his thick glasses so he could actually somewhat see. "Other then that, I have almost no experience with housework. I try not to go outside if I can help it."

"Well, there's only one way to get better." She turned to Ash. "Since he's so not experienced and is scrawny you're only getting five dollars."

Newt decided not to mention that hed been training since he was in elementary school. Some things were just best left to experience. Huh he was a little annoyed by the scrawny comment. "If you think I'm scrawny, you should see my twin, hes even worse. He looks like the walking dead. Ar least I sleep."

"Yes, well, you won't be getting any naps while you work for me."

Newts fingers twitched, signing cusses. Because for some reason he never cussed unless sit was in sign language.

"Now come."

Newt raised his eyebrows and followed. Not wanting to become a kabob. Hed figure out a way out later.

Ash didn't even get the five dollars.

She led him out of the house and into an extremely nice car
