Shade's eyes become faint. "Tess.....I'm sorry if I can't save you....." Shade focuses his energy on Tess, holding her hand, with tears flowing down from his closed eyes. "Please.......Wake up......"

Tess smiled weakly. "Save Rose. Trust me, you won't miss me at all." She flickered between Kaci and Tess, Kaci looking even more injured than Tess. Maybe it's because Tess felt terrible inside?

"No.....I can-and I WILL save you!" Shade squeezes his eyes tighter and Tess, body starts to glow and heal. "I won't lose you this way!" He holds tightly to her arm, the magic even stronger now.

(this certainly reminds me of two certain character from a certain series that char- imean care for each other)

Tess coughs a few times, blood coming up. The magic was working- she slowly stood up and fell onto Shade, exhausted. "Thank you."

She looks over at shade and tess smiling.

Then she looks over at her sister who has not woken up yet.

She looks down.

Shade smiles at Tess in his arms. "I would never let anything happen to you......." Still holding onto her hand he gets up and makes sure Tess stays behind him. Shade stands in a defensive position. How long can I hold these guys off?! My powers-my strength.....is getting weaker......but I've gotta fight!? I need to protect my friends!!!

Tess draws her bow, her arms still sore. "Ow.." Knocking three arrows, she fired, killing the Dark player. She sighs, falling into Shade again.

Shade turns around to help Tess. "Don't worry, I gotcha..." He picks Tess up in his arms and walks to Team Ice Stationary.
