(Hanako's gotten some slight buffs and alterations for the roleplay, usually sh'es just an MHA-meets-creepypasta character sooooo......
im considering switching her at some point. Maybe. We'll see, she's not meant to be powerful and neither is LIshian and they share 1 1/2 braincells between them....compoletely forgot LIshian's powers aren't great when not enhanced by his homeworld already being wack)


"Cool." Hanako's grin widens. "way better then a slightly-curse knife, I can appreciate a good demon."

"That's because you literally embody one half the time." Lishian has reappeared with a sword gleaming black strapped to his belt and stray particles trailing him. "Right, we good to go? I've got my stuff." He pats a small dingy pouch he's added to his back. "The magic here's all messed up, you'd think itd actually clump together but nope it just flies everywhere. I knew I should've practiced that stuff more..."

"you brought the cat back, right?" i ask, peering around him "because Salem counts as one of the weapons, unfortuately casting is much harder when he isn't around" i inform them. Eli reaches into her pocket to check on her own familiar, who's sleeping peacefully.

(well, i'd say here is pretty whack too :) )

Lishian pulls open his pack to reveal a certain cat. "Next time dont send a cat after me if you don't want your familiars to reek of askes and smoke." He tells Zoe. "i'd apologize, but i'm used to the stench of half-decayed stuff so...."

Hanako snickers.

"actually i like this smell" Salem says, hopping out of the bag onto the floor "just in case any ofyou were wondering" he adds, with a fuax innocent look. i roll my eyes at him. "alright, book wise, what magic can we do?" ask, looking to Eli. despite the fact the book is mine, she knows how to read it better.

"who wants to go first?" Eli asks, looking at the pair.

(True. *prods Hanako to get some extra powers so she doesn't end up dead first* at least lish has is word's powrs, Hanako.....decidedly does not have a way to manifest random powers like some of my ocs lol)


"Hanako ,because I don't want to get into trouble with anyone, this world or mne, for blowing myself up from magic overdose, my friend's dad is really scary when he's mad." Lishian says. "Side effects of livingin conditions that could kill for way too long."

"Wait, what?" Hanako blinks.

"...right" i say, giving an awkward thumbs up. is that normal? i don't have a dad so i wouldn't really know...

"put your hand above the book" Eli says, setting the book on the table under her outstretched hand. the book is closed, the cover shining in the light. "and then close your eyes and think really hard about doing magic" she instructs.

Hanako does as told.

Lishian has settled in a corner to scribble on paper. "Hope you know what you're doing, our magic cooperates horribly with other magic." he mentions, before popping a peice of paper in his mouth.

"something small like this should be fine" i whisper encouragingly, as Eli takes her hand and begins to channel her magic. the pages of the book fly open, the pages going by so fast you can hardly see them, before finally settling on a page.

the page is covered in an odd sort of srcipt composed of intersecting lines either slanted or straight. Eli smiles up at Hanako, dropping her hand. "good for you, it looks like you can perform basic defense spells like casting smoke, rain and even a bit of fire!" she tells her, gesturing to the book.

"Oh thatll end well." Lishian mutters form his corner.

Hnako rolled her eyes at him "oh go off, Lishy,"

"Do not call me that." Lishian huffed. "Now are you lot ready or not, the suns rise higher rhe longer we wait."

"i think we're ready, lishy" Eli teases, closing the boox and sliding it under her arm. "let me just get my bag of stuff and we'll be good to go" i add, hurrying to my room. bag in hand - and cat in bag - i emerge once more, ready to go. "lets go harass genji at his place of work for transportation" i announce.
