Something tells you it's might be because you're an albino.
She punches you twice.

"Oh stars above, not this again!" I mutter, reddish eyes flickering across the room as I look for something I could use as a weapon.

There's a fireplace poker near you though you could technically use anything as a weapon.
She punches you, but unfortunately for her, it doesn't cause any damage this time.
She looks frustrated, though you couldn't tell why.
"Fight back!" she says, distressed. "What are you waiting for? Scared that I'll beat you? Too cowardly?"

"Not really something I do, but if you say so," I say stupidly, lunging towards the poker in the fireplace. I have the fighting skills of a drunken seahorse on a Monday morning, but hey, maybe if I wave around a sharp piece of metal enough, maybe hit her a couple times if I'm lucky, she'll go away.

("fighting skills of drunken seahorse" xD)
She seems confused for a second before realizing what you were trying to do. She strikes your elbow as you reach for the poker, but you still manage to take it.

(Me: *makes the girl skilled in wing chun, a martial art i just know exists*
Cosimo: *doesn't punch her*
Me: It appears I have miscalculated)

I grit my teeth. Right. Combat skills, now would be a good time to kick in. I get back to my feet, brandishing the poker menacingly. I huff, knowing well I probably look like a cornered animal. Well, if that's the game we're gonna play, I might as well fight like an animal. My reflexes certainly aren't what they used to be ten years ago on the streets, but maybe this way I'll be able to at least block a punch or two without getting nailed.

She reels away from the poker but then starts attacking you again. Somehow, miraculously, you manage to block her punches. A part of your combat skills from the past have finally decided to come alive.
+ Street fighting
She tries to push you into a corner, but you manage to halt her efforts. Right now, the fight is in a stalemate...For now.

I glare at her, breathing hard but trying to hold my ground. If I can get her out and escape to a safer place.....
From what you can tell about the layout while making your way, is that the houses were neatly arranged on an elevation high above the lake. It doesn't trigger your fear though, unless you look over the edge.
After a short while, you find the hissing cat and Omar at Adom's house. You were lucky enough to be there right as he was giving Adom the palm wine.
The black cat hisses at you, flicking a forked tongue into the air before affectionately rubbing its head against you. Its eyes were a fading pale green.
Omar was starting to head back, probably to report to his hostile employer.
(Hmm)
I resolutely try to keep my gaze away from the lake, feeling that familiar knot of emotions rising up in my throat again as I fail once or twice.
I look down at Adom's strange cat, tilting my head curiously at its volatile behaviour. I decide to bend down to give it a friendly pat, seen as it appears to have taken a liking to me. After a childhood spent fighting over scraps, you get to know alley cats as being your competitors - but those days are behind me, and this isn't an alley cat.
Still, I can't let it keep me too long. I'll part from the feline to make my way over to Omar, keeping pace with him. "Hey there," I say in greeting. "Omar, right?"
I leave it at that for now, taking a moment to examine the delivery boy and his reaction so that I can get a better judge of his character.

You hold your ground against her and even make her go backwards an inch. How do you plan on getting her out and escaping?
