If the Nephini was ready to collect it will appear in your hatchery after Krin runs the script.

You would have needed to collect the egg from the garden to have it applied for the fundle task. If the plant matched the prerequisites for collecting when the garden closed then youll have to wait for Krin to run the script before your egg appears in your hatchery. The fundle contained mostly gardening supplies, so it wouldnt really have done much for you when the fest completely ended.
