Nicote had tensed a bit when Astra stattedtrying to insult but was relievedwhen she said she couldn't.
"Yeah, so, um.....I guess you know wher ethebasement it, if you need something at any pointjust coem on down?"

Astra felt the smallest shift in his aura as he tensed up. *Honest, I wouldnt insult you.* she added quickly. She nodded *Guess I do know the way down, but trust me its fine if you tell me to leave. Im quite used to it and fending for myself, contrary to popular belief due to me being blind and all*

Nicote just shook his head. "It's suicide to stay outside for too lon. Besides, I would've knocked you out and dragged you out int othestreets if i didn't want you here." His ears turned red. "Or mind you here."

She made a face. "I wouldn't try knocking me out, it's harder than you would think since sneaking up behind me would relatively be the same thing as sneaking in front of me." She raised an eyebrow as she noticed a change in his aura, was he embarrassed? about what though. "You don't mind me here." She added. "Guess there's a first thing for everything, the best I've gotten before was tolerated because they can't seem to get rid of me."

"Well let's put it like his: If I kick you out, I get a scolding from my uncle, a yelling from the chief of security, a lot of facepalmed and eye rolls, a bad rep, and you probably choking to death in toxic air. Or freezing. Both could happen. So y'know, I'd rather you jsut hanf around. Plus company's nice when half he family's off doing who knows whst."

She grinned. *I highly doubt that would be the real reason seeing as Lish would probably forget I existed if I went missing and the rest of the people wouldnt even know I was here. Besides If I really had to I probably would risk light leaping somewhere far from this place since it would end with me dying either way* she pointed out

"You realize that besides thisnixty theres literally no where else to go that isnt potentially toxic wasteland with nothing in sight? But....hats a good point."

*Theres always nothing in sight* she joked before answering seriously No I dont mean around here, I mean back where I come from. Although theres no way of telling whether I can light leap between worlds without turning fully into light and I wouldnt try it unless I was going to die anyways. She frowned suspiciously at him as she crossed her arms. *Dont tell me I just convinced you to kick me out*

"Not yet. Lish is slightly more annoying." Nic assures her.

She wrinkled her nose. *Oh dear, Ive only managed to be slightly less annoying in a few minutes than someone youve known for way longer. Im feeling so much more comfortable.*
