Mateo pulls one asid and shows him the note and explains about Meinkes extreme dyslexia and how he was only gone for 5 minutes.

On Meinkes desk theres a lot of messily-written papers, a lot fo goo drawings, and a computer filled with homework assignments since using computers are easier for the kid.

Mates room is just one thing: books.

Theres no indication of Meinke having any othe mental illnesses besides dyslexia but also no pictures of him before around 7 years old. Plenty of Mateo though.

Mateo let's the officer take the fake suicide note. He doesnt want it since Meinke definitely didnt write it.

The officers soon left, going to evaluate things back at the station
