Aidy snatched his hand and yanked it away. She bore her teeth at him, a low hiss slipping between them. "Don't touch me, got that?", She ground out. Aidy shook off her range and stepped back, calming down. "I would enjoy it if you pronounced my species name correctly, and I am not going to bother you as long as you don't bother me. I will only listen to you if you gain my trust, other than that I don't care, I'm not going to kill you unless you directly ask me to put you out of your misery."

I shifted on my feet a little nodding again (I had a feeling I was starting to look weird, but I didn't know what else to do), picking up on some squabble a few yards over.
Alexander and his Ishnu were fighting? Maybe nobody had taught that one to listen or behave.
