b) Leave the tavern
Titus rose, slinging his bow over his shoulder. "Then I had better get going. Thanks for your help, Eprin."
After leaving the room, Titus checked carefully to make sure his possessions were all accounted for. Once positive that they were, he continued out into the town proper.

As you step out into the town, you find - as Eprin had stated - a whole lot of merchants. There was chaos with travelers bustling around and merchants shouting out about their wares. It was almost intimidating. You also happened to notice, within the bustle, a middle-aged woman that seemed to be measuring a tree on the outskirts of the town, and an odd man with what appeared to be fox ears on his head, leaning back against a building and counting sprites in his hands.
What do you wish to do?
a) Go to the jeweler
b) Go to the weapons merchant
c) Go to the mystery merchant
d) Approach the tree-measuring woman
e) Go to the sewing merchant
f) Go to the supplies merchant
g) Go to the food merchant
h) Approach the fox man
i) Go to the stone merchant
j) Go to the animal merchant
k) Go back to the tavern
l) Keep looking
m) Leave the town

This was a predicament, Camilla thought as she stopped struggling and stared at the pink skinned woman. It was hard for her to even spend much time contemplating the strangeness of this person, since all she really wanted was to be out of this net. Of course, her heart began pounding as soon as she realized her captor had sharp pointed teeth and was talking about possibly eating her.
"Please, I...," she began, her blue-grey eyes widening, but she wasn't able to finish her plea.
When the woman pulled on the rope, Camilla found herself falling to the ground in a heap. She stood up and began dusting herself off, immediately concerned with maintaining a dignified appearance. She brushed at some of her darkest red hair with her finger tips, mostly for show she realized since her hair was still an awful mess.
"I guess I should be grateful I wasn't your taste," she said, her expression neutral with just a hint of her earlier irritation, "Thank you for letting me down anyway."

The woman offered a small shrug, though a corner of her mouth was tilted upwards in a simplistically beautiful half-smile. "No big deal," she chuckled, her voice smooth and rhythmic. "I'm Quruxus," she introduced herself in a friendly tone, sticking out a hand for you to shake.

Now that she was standing on the ground, Camilla was able to give more of her attention to the other woman. It was a little hard to look at her for very long, she was incredibly beautiful, but so many colors, none of them the kind she thought people even came in. Of course, this person was clearly not exactly human either. Then again, she thought to herself, neither was she...
"Pleased to meet you," she said automatically, an odd statement considering the woman had had her in a net just moments ago, "My name is Camilla." She looked skeptically at the extended hand for just a second before her mother's voice in the back of her mind urged her to be polite, so she shook hands.

Quruxus just smiled kindly in spite of your obvious hesitation. "Although we established I don't eat humans, I have been cheated out of a dinner," she sighed. "Perhaps something will come along. What brings you to the forest, Schon?" she inquired.

Perhaps it was better to stop trying to wrap her head around all of the new things she was being exposed to. Camilla was having a hard time keeping up with it all. First orcs in inns, the toothless dwarf selling her a dress, and now a person who was composed of so many bright shades of pink, blue and purple that it made her eyes dizzy.
"Well, please accept my humblest apologies then," she said to the woman, trying to sound sincere but her tone held a hint of sarcasm, "And to be perfectly honest I'm not quite sure what brings me to the forest. I'm simply trying find my way forward."

"Finding your way," Quruxus mused, thinking on it for a moment with an endearingly contemplative expression on her face. "That's an interesting notion. I never really looked for a 'way', myself."
Your conversation was interrupted as a snarl sounded and, from seemingly nowhere, a jaguar pounced at you. It sunk its teeth into your upper arm before either you or Quruxus could react.

a) Scream
b) Hit it blindly
c) Try to reach your dagger
