"Itle do you think you can get the girl in there to talk? She's scared of all us and could use a friend." Ase smiled at him kindly.

Itri nodded. He had never had a friend before, and was excited to make a new one. He walked into the room, his father watching threw a crack that was left between the door and the wall. He found himself facing a young girl that was maybe 1 or 2 years older than he was. He didn't know how he was going to convince the girl to talk to Aydan and Ase, so he didn't. instead he started talking to her, like the day before. She started to growl, but he rapped the floor next to him with his large, flat paws. His knuckles were aching, making him wish he knew sign language.

The girl was hesitant, but this boy was young, younger than her, in fact. She wouldn't go near him, but she could talk to him. ".... . .-.. .-.. --- --..-- / .. - .-. .." she knocked back.

"-.-. .- -. / -.-- --- ..- / - .- .-.. -.- ..--.." Itri questioned.

She nodded, but didn't say anything to show that she could.

".-- .... -.-- / -.. --- -. .----. - / -.-- --- ..- ..--.." He queried further.

The girl hesitated, but spoke. "It hurts to speak" She said, her voice raspy and light. "... --- / .. / -.. --- -. .----. -"

Itri nodded. "-.-- --- ..- / -.. --- -. .----. - / .... .- ...- . / - ---" He assured her. He guessed that his friend must have had a sore throat or something.

The other child's mouth twitched, as if part of her wanted to smile.

Itri had never named anyone before. "I'll be right back" He knocked to his nameless companion. He ran out the door to tell Aydan and Ase about his discoveries, and ask them if they had any ideas for names.

Angela had had enough of this place and broke down the room's door. She picked up Tiger and went into the hall. Angela ran then unfurled her wings. She flew through the hallway. Then she flew into another experiment and fell. "Sorry." Angela said. She looked down at her feet not wanting to look the other experiment in the eyes.

Itri shook his head and looked up at the winged girl curiously. He rubbed a sore spot on his arm where it had hit the ground, but it was mostly out of instinct and he didn't really notice it. So many new people over the course of two days! First Ase, then the scaly sore throat girl, and now a bird girl!

"I am so very sorry." Angela said. She looked around and then leaned down. She picked up Tiger. "I have to go." Angela said.

Itri waved away the apology but didn't let the girl pass. He signalled towards the boy with one of his large paws. does he need help? he hoped that he could get the message across well enough. Not being able to speak was fine with just him and Aydan, but recently Itri had discovered that with other people talking tends to be easier.

"Yes." Angela gasps. "Please all I want is to not be trapped here."

"Trapped?" Itri thought, tilting his head questioningly. Sure, he had always had to stay in his father's office, but frankly he enjoyed it there. He had his little reading nook and access to all the books he could want. Nonetheless, he wished to help the winged girl. Itri knew that he couldn't do anything, but he figured that Aydan might. He started to wonder where his father was, but before Itri could find him for himself Aydan stuck his head out of a doorway a little ways down the hall.
Aydan had left the door to get some coffee and leave the two children to their conversation when he heard a noise coming from around where he had left his young son. He stuck his head out of the room. "Itri are you okay?!" He yelled before noticing a young teenage girl with wings and an unconscious boy in he arms. "Oh my gosh is he okay?" Aydan asked in a worried tone. He started down the hallway to get a better look at the youngsters.

Angela jumped in surprise and turned around. Tiger groaned and Angela looked at Tiger. She sits down and puts Tiger down in her lap. Angela tries to comfort Tiger. Tiger starts to grow white fur. "Oh good." Angela says happily. "He is a lot better." Tiger then opens his eyes. He looks at Angela.

Aydan jumped back slightly when the boy started to grow fur, but recovered quickly. His tail flicked back and forth as he wondered what to do with the two youngsters. He shot a meaningful glance back at where he had last seen Ase. It was against lab rules to interact with someone else's experiments without permission, but the were just kids! Surely there had to be exceptions!
