After a long moment, she finally speaks. "There's... two types of powersources. Normal, and parasitic. The normal ones act as you'd expect- they can be used for magic, and will kill any creature, including Nyxies, when ingested. However, if a powersource is parasitic and gets ingested by a Nyxie with at least two lives, it'll affect them much differently; both the powersource's and the Nyxie's powers get magnified, and the powersource acts as a sort of parasite, using the Nyxie as a host. This particular powersource is parasitic, and strongly so."
