As much as I was scared of tbe ring master I didnt want the tigers to go hungry they couldn't help that they were here. I frowned as he patted me on the head. I didnt want him to touch me and I didnt like people touching my head. Only the tigers were allowed to touch my head when they rubbed heads with me.

Alexander put on his comparatively simple outfit with a blank look on his face. He knew what was happening, but he wouldnt let the anger bubble up and influence him to help the others.
They were escaping soon, and he couldnt risk everything for those two when they would be escaping alongside him. You had to look forward to one minor thing everyday, and that was that they were being told the escape plan today. He couldnt get his hopes up, and think he would escape today.
He crushed the fabric of his gloves between two of his fingers as he remembered Jonathan. He might be going out the same way if some of those rebellious idiots didnt listen, but performing always carried that risk. He was doing a performance with a good deal of fire today, and he already planned on partially setting himself on fire, with safeguards of course.
He cleared his head of the worried thoughts, and let a smile show on his face. He had been here for several years; he couldnt break down now.

Morgan adjusted the scarf in her hair and slipped out of the tent, making her way to the table that had been set up for her just in the entrance beyond the tickets. People would be filing in soon, and her being early worked to her own advantage to catch them as they came.
