"Housekeeping." I said to the door knock before laughing. "What were you saying before the door?" I asked curious ti what he was going to say.

"I, I understand, a little bit, at least. I have a friend whose scared to death of him, too." I said. "Specifically his uh, split personality? I don't know what it is with him, he was never tested for a mental disorder..."

"Nothing."

The knocking came again. Shave and a hair-cut, two bits. I felt like my blood was freezing.

"Hide," I whispered. "If any scientist knows you're here, I'm gonna get Hades because I didn't 'obtain' you."

I nodded and then dove under the bed barely moving the comferter to peek out a teensy bit.

" Oh...yeah. Due to that split personality, He used to hit me a lot, so now I have a bunch of unsettling scars. " she explained.

I ran to the door, praying it was someone else.

It wasn't.

I opened the door, finding Dr. Bits and Lana Jefferson at my door.

"Hi, Lana," I said. She was the nicer of the two. Sure, she was a scientist, but not a mad one. She always took care of me and the others. Bandaged my wounds. Gave me food and tea when Dr. Bits refused to. She was kind.

Not like Dr. Bits. Evil twit.

Luckily, Dr. Bits had his gloves on.

"Good morning, David." he said. His voice sent cold shivers down my spine and unpleasant memories to my head. "I just came over to tell you that I sent the human."

"I figured. D-, u-u-u-u-u-uh, he i-i-is fr-fr-frightened as a-all get out."

"True, true," Dr. Bits said, shaking his head sloly, like he didn't cause it.

"May I stay for awhile?" Lana asked.

"Sure."

"I'll be going then," Dr. Bits said, finally leaving. I closed the door behind Lana.

"A lot of people have scars from him. I know someone who does." I said.

I whimpered a little at the sound of Dr Bits. Lana wasn't too bad, but I hadn't been around her long enough to like her.

" I know. Lots of people have gotten hurt by him. " she replied.

"Yes. And he somehow keeps it all under wraps," I said.
