Lucifer's ear swiveled toward it and he slowed down, but kept walking.

A small voice came from the bush: "Mommy?"

Lucifer stopped fully, ears pricked. He looked toward the bush, almost worriedly.

*Who a-are you?* said the small voice again letting only its eyes be visible

Lucifer, seeing that the creature was most probably harmless, sniffed at the bush before laying down. "I am no-one you should be frightened of, little one."

small moth-like antennae slowly peek out of the front of the bush, its moth-like eyes blinking "h-how do I-I-I k-know y-y-your n-not lying?"

"I may look big and scary, little one, but I am not unfamiliar with children." Lucifer spoke softly, lowering his head and laying it on his large paws. "Now, tell me, what's your name?"

"I-I don't have one.." it said one wing peeking out of the bush

"they took one look at me and kicked me out of their tree.." it said slowly stepping outside the bush
