The day is long the night is gone

~ Poem Contest Winners ~
I once again apologize for being so late to this entire thing. Once again, school has just been crazy and really messing me up with the things that I am normally free for. I know you are all tired of waiting, so without further ado here is winner of the Summer Poem Contest!
~ Winner ~
Grapejuice Summer Land Dreams
oe'r yonder there lies a land,
where shores will glisten with endless sand,
and skies of blue encase.
Past the darkness and the walls,
A person leaps and laughs and calls,
come with me to the land of sun.
This land I love and do hold dear,
it appears only once a year,
for me and no one else.
Alone I sit without fear,
because I feel less alone here,
than in the real world.
This was wonderful! I love how your poem had a joyful outlook while hinting at a lonesome purpose. I really enjoy the way you worded this poem and I absolutely love how well it sounds together. It is short and sweet causing you to want to read more about this lonesome character. Fantastic work!!!

There wasn't as many people interested in this than I was expecting, but either way this doesn't stop that fact that I am choosing a winner out of the two of you. Just in case anyone is interested, the art tent is back up once more. Anyways, I know you both have waited a VERY long time for this drawing. Without further ado, here is the winner!
