(You are the leader of your Clan, hence why you jumped out of the leaders den. However, the forest your clan lived in has been destroyed, so you will have to rebuild your Clan elsewhere or in the burnt forest again)
The flames were dead, but cinders had tiny sparks flickering among the leaves that died as quickly as they came. You'd have to make a decision - leave or see if there are any survivors.

(Please quote/bold and ping.)
The flames had already died down from the time you'd spent stood still by the brook watching, only a few sparks flicking and dying remained. As you went into the green forest, fresh scents reached your nose. You could pick up prey and the whiff of other cats.
you went into the forest, the sun was seeping in and it was beautiful. The undergrowth was overgrown.
I start to feel more at ease, sniffing around and wandering aimlessly. I start to miss my clan and wonder if any of them are even still alive.

If you left the survivors too long, their burns may kill them, if there even was any. You picked up the scent of squirrel, birds tweeted in the air and you could hear a mouse shuffling in leaves nearby. A few pawprints were on the ground, but they didn't lead anywhere specifically.

At that realization, I quickly turn around and sprint back to the river, and try to cross it.

They smelt of rogues. You saw a flash of pelt in the under bush.

It was a brook and easy to jump over. You padded up the hill in the forest, would you like to head towards camp, sunning rocks or apple grove?
