I don't have a favorite carol/song because christmas isn't a thing in my country. CoD me for 1k!
(Freeform-ish, a non-rhyming-ish poem)
Christmas is here!
Snow in the air!
Gather round,
Old, new and young.
We're all here for a story,
of renewed Christmas cheer,
So settle down and take a rest
As rhythm courses like a test.
There was a man
Who once had none
His heart was cold
Like there was no sun
When asked 'bout joy
He sent them packing
Nobody knew
That he once slew
His own joy
Through his own boy
Christmas came;
He still sat lame.
Dead like crisp cold mornings
Christmas to him;
A time of mourning.
Oh joy, how nobody knew
But one day
He got the sway
And heard the merry songs.
It's been to long
Since he last smiled
And like a child,
He swept right in
With a bright grin
His sorrow now gone
And chocolate was drawn
For everyone in festivities
How great christmas is!
Everybody get the fizz!
Christmas is here!
All sorrows disappear!
The man was joyful;
