Laney looked down the darkened corridor, squinting for any signs of movement before slipping out of her warm room into the cool corridor. She shut the door quietly behind her, and walked as quietly as possible to the place she had promised to meet the other two.

Darrian knew sneaking out would be a mistake. She sighed and slipped out of her room and through a long process of sneaking through the third hangar she burst into the open air. Breathing in she rushed to the spot she had agreed to meet Laney and Dustin. She scratched at her arms, the night's darkness slowly became brighter as her eyes tinged yellow.

Darrian avoided eye contact with Laney and Dustin, fearing they would notice how her eyes had gotten a yellow-glowy tinge in them. "I have no preferences, anywhere is fine."
